Encerrado o 2º Treino Livre para o Grande Prêmio do Canadá. A equipe Hispania manteve seu bom desempenho frente às demais novatas, Virgin e Lotus. O piloto Bruno Senna após 31 voltas pelo Circuito Gilles Villeneuve conquistou o 21º tempo.

O 1º Treino Livre válido para o Grande Prêmio do Canadá terminou a poucos instantes. O brasileiro Bruno Senna completou 28 voltas registrando a 22ª posição. Bruno ficou a frente dos dois carros da Virgin.

Bruno Senna fará a sua estréia no circuito canadense Gilles Villeneuve, neste final de semana. Na companhia do indiano Karun Chandhok e da jornalista Laia Ferrer, da TV3, o brasileiro fez o reconhecimento do traçado que, até então, conhecia apenas da TV e dos jogos de vídeo game.

"Carro estava me dando confiança", diz Bruno; ouça

O brasileiro Bruno Senna demonstrou otimismo em relação ao desempenho do carro da Hispania neste final de semana, na Turquia. Na ocasião, o piloto vinha fazendo sua melhor disputa do ano, mas abandonou no fim por conta de problemas na bomba de combustível.

Segundo o brasileiro, a performance de seu Hispania lhe dá confiança para brigar de igual para igual com os carros da Lotus nas próximas disputas.

"Foi uma corrida boa. A gente começou bem na primeira volta e teve um momento comédia na largada. O Trulli parou no meu lugar e, um pouco antes d ea luz ficar vermelha, ele foi para o lugar dele."

"Eu fiquei lá e o [Karun] Chandhok estava parado atrás de mim, então ele nem viu o semáforo.
Mesmo assim passei o [Timo] Glock na largada. Na curva estava tranquilo, não podia arriscar muito", explicou o piloto.

Bruno destacou a possibilidade que teve neste final de semana de brigar com os carros da Lotus e de superar a dupla da Virgin, algo que ainda não havia acontecido.

"O ritmo estava bom, o carro estava bem competitivo hoje. Estávamos brigando com o Glock. A gente deu azar depois do pit, com tráfego, quando perdemos muito tempo. Na luta com o Lucas [Di Grassi] perdi um pouco de tempo, mas não podia encostar porque podia acabar minha corrida."

"Eu sabia que ia conseguir ultrapassar numa oportunidade mais garantida. Infelizmente, tivemos um problema de pressão de combustível, que a gente que resolver logo", disse o brasileiro.

Senna comentou a diferença que ele vê no momento de sua equipe para a Lotus, uma das três novas equipes no grid e que apresentou um melhor desempenho até o momento.

"Eles [Lotus] disseram que houve um upgrade na asa de trás, então estão bem mais eficientes, com downforce com arrasto. Melhorou bastante para eles e, até recebermos updates, veremos a equipe de trás, infelizmente."

"Mas hoje o carro estava me dando confiança aqui e espero que seja parecido no Canadá", finalizou o companheiro de equipe de Karun Chandhok.

Bruno Senna espera melhor sorte no Canadá

Problema no carro da HRT F1 encerra boa corrida no GP da Turquia

SÃO PAULO - A promissora corrida de Bruno Senna no GP da Turquia não resistiu a mais um problema com o carro da HRT F1 Team. Depois de conseguir seu melhor desempenho em treinos classificatórios neste ano de estréia e subir de 22º ara 19º na largada, Bruno abandonaria quando restavam 12 voltas por causa da queda da pressão de combustível do F110.

Apesar da saída prematura da prova, Bruno mostrou tranqüilidade ao analisar o resultado em Istambul Park. "Acho que fizemos um bom trabalho neste fim de semana. Melhoramos o carro em termos de performance e consistência, graças ao esforço junto aos engenheiros da equipe. Infelizmente, fui obrigado a parar para não provocar a quebra do motor", explicou Bruno.

A HRT F1 levou para Istambul Park um tanque de combustível supostamente melhor que o usado em Mônaco, mas não foi o que se viu na prática. Os treinos revelaram que o carro seria obrigado a carregar 20 quilos a mais de gasolina para não correr o risco de uma pane seca, mas mesmo assim apresentou um defeito na pressão de combustível. Que não apagou, no entanto, a boa apresentação de Bruno. "Larguei bem e mantive uma luta legal com o Timo Glock, apesar do problema com o tráfego nas primeiras voltas. Depois, também tive uma disputa leal contra o Di Grassi, mas nosso carro era mais rápido."

A expectativa de Bruno é de outra sorte na próxima etapa, o GP do Canadá. Além da substituição do tanque, as características do circuito devem garantir um pouco mais de tranqüilidade. "A pista de Montreal não é tão crítica em relação ao combustível como o da Turquia, onde as curvas de raio longo e forças laterais intensas aumentam o consumo. Em teoria, nosso fim de semana lá deverá ser melhor".

Encerrado o Grande Prêmio da Turquia. Bruno Senna fez sua melhor prova no ano, chegando a ultrapassar e estar por muitas voltas a frente de um dos carros da Virgin. Contudo a poucas voltas do fim na 19ª posição, teve problemas e abandonou.
